Royal Wedding part duex

We had a nice little Pre- party Celebration and a little nap and alarm set for 2 am ready to watch a Price Marry his Princess! Woke up with my princess Zoey...MY PRINCE asleep and watched all the Fluff and 2 hours later The Wedding! It was Beautiful and Magical and really glad to be a part of it...took a little Royal Nap and had the most Royal Brunch ever with Mimosa's & homemade donuts! It was a fabulous day!

Well, half of us are really excited for the ROYAL WEDDING and
other half is not as excited:)but, he is baking Scones anyway!
There is a little bit of relief that they decided to get Married
in 2011 and not steal our thunder in 2010! Really feel for the brides of
April 2011.

It is going to be be a struggle to get up @ 2am and wait with anticipation...
What will her hair look like, her dress and the bridesmaids! She is a bride
of 2011 and from what I can tell has great Style.It is going to be magical!

When someone asks where were you and what were you doing when Wills & Kate Married?
we will say....

Season over.

We have been here for a little over 5 months and just like that its over!
So many Snow Days too many to count and it keeps on falling down! Mountain
closed down,town shutting down,snow still on the ground! What? We are now finished
with work until May 19Th and now the question is what do we do with the time off??

Denver is near and city life would be fun...Hiking ( so scared of BEARS!)...Hot Springs for sure and well there is always Santa Fe a hop.skip and a jump away! We will post pics of what ever we do and will try not to post that we sat at home and watched too much t.v.! Hope everyone had a Happy Easter -xoxo M&S

Last week to ride!

Scott changed my stance and it was like I was about to go pro! It was a
great day and woke up today and really felt like getting back out there!
This weekend is the last chance to ride and then they shut the Mountain down
until next season. I am ready to embrace the Spring and Summer.

We had a great time....

Our Anniversary was such a Special day and we had
such a great time spending it together! Thanks to our
New friends Hailey and Andrew for watching the kids and
the crew at ember for the nice bottle of bubbly we had
such a nice relaxing time!

Can't really tell you where this year has gone but, it has
and here we are in this Mountain town and really finding the
time to make for each other. We are learning so much about each
other in our first year of marriage and communicating is a huge
part of it all! Who knew? We pray every night and feel so blessed
to be part of a team of two:) Thanks for all the love and support.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY 4~17~10

Happy Anniversary to the best man and best friend in my life....


We both took the day off work and got a great pair of sitters for the crew
and we are off to Beaver Creek Colorado for a day of Snowboarding,relaxing heated
poolside,dinner,bubbly and an overnight at The Osprey! Only thing missing will be
our cake a tradition I was excited about only it sits and waits for us in Scott's
parents freezer maybe on our third anniversary!

Great day to go for a Ride!

Finally! Felt great yesterday and today felt ya know like I needed an hour
massage :) We had fun!

You can take the girl out of the city....

But, you can't take the city out of the girl!


Last week we took a drive to ALMA population 275 its
a little town 17 miles south of Breck. a cute little
town with not much going on and I am sure everyone
knows everyone kind of town! We were there for a little
under and hour enough time to check out all of the shoppes!

A little further down the road we checked out Fairplay a
bigger little town with a few more shoppes and also known
as South Park City...and home to the cartoon! This was so
entertaining as one of of the shoppes had a wall dedicated
to the cartoon and the outside storefront had a few the characters
totally fun.

We stopped by the Skate park and then headed back to Breck. a Bigger
Mountain town but, still no city! There is so much to miss about city
life but, nice to see the simple side of things...and if we ever want
that dose of the city Denver is a hop.skip.and a jump away!
