Our Beau Summer

  Our First Summer home in two years. First goal was to get our little B. into a pool because, the count down to Vacation Leland was on! So we started small with a little 12 dollar baby pool from Kroger and it was a good start!

He loved it:) Of course he Loves Tubby Time and this was really Just that but, outdoors with a Swimmy Diaper and a Sun Hat!Oh and Sunscreen + the water was COLD:) But, as much fun as it was to fill the little pool up for about 15 minutes by BUCKET! 5 to be exact!!! Mama was ready for  Mama-Beau time in a real pool:) So we took our Summer Swim Party over to My friend Kelly' s and tested out Deeper Waters...

 

And he LOVED it:) Of course Summer is not all about being in a bathing suit at least not for me anymore:) we did other fun stuff too :)



Scott celebrated his first Papa's Day:) We had a City View Brew and a La Mexicana Dinner!

And Vacation in Leland is even Sweeter:) Fourth of July-Fire Works on the lake, 2nd first Birthday party with our Michigan Family, Our First Family hike to Pyramid Point with Our little B. Beau,Paddle Boarding, Hammock Resting,Family Dinners, Vacation was a BLAST!

 

We had such a great time on our hike to Pyramid Point:) Such a Beautiful spot that is so Special to both of us... it is where we got Engaged and where we have hiked to every trip to Leland the only thing missing was our Gus:( he was there in Spirit and he will now be there always as we spread a few of his ashes:) miss you buddie.xo

Our Maui Friend Keith was in town after we got back from Vaca. so Beau got to meet him too:) We met Keith while we were on Our Honey Moon in Maui he lives there but, once upon a time grew up in Cincinnati! Small World. Such a great guy we have been very Lucky with our Connections we have made on our Journeys!

BLESSINGS

 

This post is going to be hard. This post is about one of the Biggest Blessings in my life- My Uncle Bill. I love him for so many reasons. It is with the heaviest of hearts that I am writing this. He has Cancer and has lived with Cancer since 2008 he has had many rounds of Chemo and Radiation and has fought really hard,and when I say fight I mean he has had the most Courageous, Positive Attitude since day one. He is my HERO. This man is Strong,and Funny and Kind. I LOVE HIM.  In the Beginning of the Summer he was scheduled for a Colonoscopy and while waiting at the hospital suffered a heart attack and had to have a double bypass two days later. He has not been home since. That part breaks my heart more than anything. He lives in the same house he was born in. He never married and cared for my Grandparents until they passed.

 

He went to a Nursing home in hopes to recover from the surgery and get home soon.The Cancer came back and he as weak as he was went through the treatment of Chemo and Radiation again. He is a fighter and does not believe in giving up even when being dealt bad hand after bad hand. He has since left the home and is now living with my Brother and his Family. He is weak and tired. Yesterday he was told that the last treatment did nothing and that Hospice is the next step. 

I am writing this post for PRAYERS for My Uncle Bill  he is such an Amazing Man and has been such a Blessing to me and my Family.  Please keep us in your Prayers.

 

Beau Loves him So MUCH. It breaks my Heart that he will not get to know how Special of a person he is. Blessings... We have had the past 5 1/2 months to spend with Uncle Bill, I Thank God Everyday he was scheduled for that Colonoscopy. BLESSINGS.

 

Getting OUR MOVE ON!

Oh yeah.... We did it Success is Moving yet again and getting settled with all of our things that we have not seen for over a year! It was like Christmas in November for me :) Mama loves all of her Pictures and Art and Furniture Oh my! It was such a perfect day and such an easy move and we could not have done it without a little help from this crew! Emmy and Matt not photographed but, were part of the A TEAM for sure! and Nana (Scott's Mom) for taking care of our precious cargo:)

 

We moved in On a Sunday and two weeks later we are all unpacked with just the finishing touches like hanging Art and trying to avoid Pinterest at all costs. We LOVE it here and it is Perfect for our little family:) The neighbors across the street welcomed us with Carrot Cake, We have a family of 8 Deer hanging out during the day and we can hear a Choo Choo train off in the distance ( such a comforting noise) We have yet to really sit down and enjoy with us both working opposite schedules and using up all of our spare time unpacking... So glad its over and we can now enjoy being here and making new memories for our little guy!

MOVEMBER!

At last it has arrived and we are all set to get our MOVE on  this weekend:) Guess who is going to be so happy to have his own ROOM!

 

Oh, yeah:) Yesterday we got our paint on with Grandpa at the new house and Beau has a very cool light blue room with a gray accent wall! -style baby. Can't wait to hang pictures and decorate,bake cookies and dance:) So hope the weather is perfect like it is today:) fingers and paws crossed!

 

Halloween was dreadful and spooky but, fun and cute:) see...

i had the best time making this for him and the whole costume 4.75! whoot whoot:)

WE LOVE FALL PART BEAUX

Well let me just say it again I LOVE FALL! 

PUMPKINS,APPLE CIDER,SWEAT WEATHER,CRISP AIR,LEAVES CHANGING COLOR,SNUGGIE TIME,FIRE PITS,PUMPKIN FLAVORED COFFEE,HALLOWEEN,LEAVES TO CRUNCH AND JUMP INTO,FALL BACK BABY! JUST TO NAME A FEW:) 

 

Next week we are moving. Sigh. Although it may have taken a year to get back on our feet after the move back to Cincinnati I really would not change a thing. Yes it has been hard being out in Milford far,far away! Not really but, whenever we would encourage people to come visit it was always "too far" We love an adventure always so this was nothing short of that:) We feel very BLESSED that we had Nana and Poppy's to call home, it really was BEAU'S first home here and I am so worried about moving and the adjustment that will be taking place??? I know he is still so young and this is going to be AWESOME:) Always a JOURNEY with us:)

 We did go back for round two at Shaw Farm and it was packed and MUDDY!!! We did not prepare for that so we just did a quick trip and decided to skip Hay Ride this year due to the Long Lines:( We had a great time though and so did he...

 

  So much to do to get ready to move and I hope that I can keep it all together and not be super CRAY! I am making Beau's costume this year and he is going to be the sweetest little

TRICK OT TREAT-ER:) He is going out with Eleanor this year on Grandma and Grandpa's street,the same street his Mama Trick or Treated on many many years ago:) I am so excited!

Falling in LOVE

Fall. I am in LOVE with you:) We have been back now for a year... Last year was a whirlwind and we did not get to enjoy our first fall as much as we would have liked:( So when Summer was coming to a close, I could not wait to fluff the Sweaters and break out the Jackets, put away the flops and Bring out the UGGS to crush on some leaves! With the Unpredictable Weather we were still Rocking shorts and Flops well into OCTOBER!!! UGH. But, here we are first really cool day and I have FALL FEVER BABY!!! Somebody give me a Pile of Leaves to Jump into:)

 

Sunday we took a Family Trip to Shaw Farm to Pick out our Pumpkin. We had a specific size in mind I think this one will do! we are going with a theme just like last years...

We did line the pumpkin with a plastic bag and blanket!

This year we have something else in mind stay tuned:)

 

Fall is my FAVORITE time of year and doing silly fun stuff with this guy makes it 100 times more fun than I could ever imagine, He really got into the whole thing and was a happy Pumpkin :)

 I love his little OWL-FIT:) I get excited about Suspenders and when I found these at Tender Hearts down in Old Milford I squealed with delight! They are going to be part of his Halloween Costume this year:)

 

This place was so Cool and it is right around the corner from us so we will be going back so Beau can take it all in  and so I can too! We didn't get to go on a Hayride so I think this Weekend we will go back for round two #pumpkinpatch

 

Fall deserves two Posts! See you soon with that and a long overdue post about our Summer it was pretty special too:)

 

 



Walking and Talking his way into 15 MONTHS

We have a walker and a talker...funny little guy makes me smile:) of course Mama is my favorite word that he says but, here are a few others... bubbles (buhbuh) Amen(mehmen) Zoey is dada or zaza Uncle Bill (uhbu) and Papa. Henry he just runs after and Shrieks at him! Nana is well, Nana and Banana and everything that he sees while you are holding him...he reaches out his arm and says na-na in the cutest little voice. THANK YOU! My favorite next to Mama is tattat or something like that:) but, I know what he is saying and it makes me proud! We are also working on signs and he has more pretty much nailed! Working on the sign for Thank you and Please:) We started walking and have not looked back to the days of crawling:( makes me just a little sad because I know that we will be moving further away from our baby phase and into Toddler-ville USA!

We are happy to announce that after a year....actually to the day we moved back... We signed a lease and our moving to Pleasant Ridge! This is where I grew up and although it was not our first choice it was a great choice with Grandma and Grandpa right down the road,Cousins and Aunt's and Uncles Super close and my new Office aka my Dad's shop is close so that I can get to business on making my furniture dreams come true:)

Can't wait to have all of them over to play:)

After 27 years my Dad has Retired from hard work at UC... So proud of him and hope that I will be able to learn a thing or two from him:)
