Birthday March

March in The Sweeney house is Birthday Month aka Birthday Palooza! This past Sunday Scott started it off with 33:) He is not very into Birthdays but, every year I try my best to make him at least try to enjoy it a little:) Now that we are teaching a little someone everything Birthdays are up there! So of course he did not ask off work and so we started celebrating on Friday:)  the weather made us change our plans for a day at the Zoo so we headed over to the Krohn Conservatory for a little taste of Spring! It was perfect not crowded and Beau loved running around through the rainforest and jungle. After, we headed across the river for a little fiesta lunch at La Mexicana... Flag burrito get in meh belly:) We came home for a little Birthday siesta and then made a delicious Pizza from the most yummy-est Pizza Places in Naples Florida...THANKS to Scott's Mom & Dad! They had it shipped to Scott for his Birthday:) After Dinner Our Babysitter arrived aka Grandma so we could go have a few laughs at The Comedy Club #gobananas  He had a good day and we were home by 10pm!

 

It was a Fun day but, we did not stop there... Saturday was bake the birthday boy a cake day:) This was a difficult task due to the extra help I had this year! Got it done though... after a neighbor came to the rescue with some baking soda:)

This Three will be used by all Three of us this year! For me it will be the last:( oh, and Zoey too she turns 13 tomorrow!

Actual Birthday ... Mama ran out and got yummy doughnuts to start the day! Beau wanted to get Papa a RED Balloon:) This is the only thing he requested for his Papa's special day:)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAPA! We love you all the way up to the Moon and back down:)

 

Since Papa had to work and Spring showed her Beautiful self to us... my Sisters and I took the Monkeys to The ZOO! It was a gorgeous day, fresh air and Sunshine and no naps = a sleeping Beau  by the end of the day!

 Monday Papa was off again so we continued Birthday with a trip to this super cool park in Blueash! We headed home for Lunch... followed by a refusal to eat & nap and ended up with this...

I had no idea he took this... but, so glad he did because, this was a tough fight that ended sweet:) 

So in Conclusion Birthday March is starting of rather nicely, I just hope it continues!

21 WEEKS + Our first taste of SPRING

Warmth. The Winter that never ends is about a week behind us and we are not looking back! Spring has started to take over and we are all truly grateful:) Last time while pregnant with Beau we were in Breck and I was on a modified bed rest so, this time is a whole lot different and it feels so good being around Family and Friends. 21 weeks Cincinnati Style!

21 weeks Baby Nugget

I love  how I am a whole lot bigger this time! Wow. I started showing pretty early with this pregnancy and of course I had on a few more pounds but, this bump is not stopping at go!

Must be all the Cheeseburgers:) Still craving those so I decided I will officially announce my Burger Tour:) So far Zips is still in the lead! Other stuff at 21 weeks... Unlike last I am way more active and allowed to be so this makes me Happy! Beau keeps me on my toes and now that spring is here we will be going a lot! Still rocking Maternity Mixed with some regular clothes and now that Spring has started to come around I can't wait to be in T-shirts:) feeling a lot more movement from Nugget this little one is a mover... most of the day and early am, Papa felt Nugget for the first time this past week:) Beau still not sure but, now calls my belly Mama's baby bump:)  This time not sure if its because I am allowed to do more or what but, I am feeling pregnancy pains a lot more! Mostly in my lower back and sleeping is not as comfy. I am not missing much but, once this warmer weather breaks I know I will be missing a frosty cold brew with Papa! For the most part everything has been great and I will not complain at all because we are truly feeling Blessed! 

 Last week we had a little visitor that gave us a little practice round of whats to come in 4 short months! We had two days of practice and Little b. was a Big help with little a.

and finally popping bubbles! Let the fun begin:) We have Birthday Palooza starting with Scott this weekend! His actual birthday is Sunday but, he is working so we are celebrating tomorrow! We are welcoming this new season with open arms:)

Winter that never ends.

This WINTER is lasting too long. Don't get me wrong I love a good SNOW but, in March! No Thank you. We have been weathering some difficult storms in the past two weeks and I truly believe that Spring will do everybody good! Terrible Two-ville has swept into our house like a TORNADO!

It came out of nowhere which, brought on some concern. Our sweet little boy has been showing his emotions in some not so nice ways which has Mama & Papa walking on eggshells around here!

We of course are trying our best and with that comes Trial and lots of Error :( Some things are easier to direct than others and my suspicion is that this is a mix of knowing Baby Nugget is on the way and Terrible Twos! Feeling like I can't quite figure this New out fast enough! Spring is really on my mind BIG TIME! 

 We took a family trip last week to EnterTrainment Junction and this Train loving little boy was So Happy! From the moment we walked in he was so excited:) This place was a Train Lovers Paradise:) We needed out of our house in the worst way possible! Beau was so great and really made us think the Tantrums were out of his system but, no sadly when we got home we had Major Meltdown! Naps are also getting harder... I am not ready for these to go:(

Saturday Morning Story time with Papa

Pizza Party at The Kurtz Family only to have the biggest Melt Down on the way home! Followed by waking up every hour this night:(

Up all night Saturday and Resisting Nap Sunday lead to falling asleep on Mama at 4:00

More Snow came last night. Darn you SPRING where the heck are you!?
Have been thinking about a new name for our blog again! lol we have changed it a couple of times since the start in 2010 maybe go back to Rockey Mountain Buckeyes :) throwing it back! Or maybe Sweeney Adventures:)
