Milestone Birthdays.. 16 you can drive, 18 you are now an Adult and can Vote 21, you can legally Drink and Purchase Alcohol 25, you are halfway to 50 and 30 is supposed to mark a time where you are grown usually married the love of your life and have 2 kids picket fence yada yada! Unless you do everything so differently like me:) So when 40 happens eight months after you have your 2nd baby with the love of your life it can hit you a little differently and then lets just let it happen on Easter this year!!! It was a very interesting one... the last year in my 30's brought the most wonderful Blessing, I can't wait to see what the first year in my new number brings!

Dinner with great life long friends followed by drinks and Dancing to T-Sly Band another good friend who also played at Our Wedding Reception! It was a great time out seriously very Blessed by some great people in my life. We may not always be close but, when we get together it feels like we have been.

 Our favorite Michigan Cousins came for a visit! We dyed Easter Eggs, Played and enjoyed some long overdue Bonding! Beau, really misses them. They got to meet Lucas for the first time:)

 We were able to take them to Our favorite Restaurants for a little pasta and Sushi

 Happy Easter Eve! We left our eggs for E.B. to hide and a Carrot for him to enjoy!

It was truly a surprising day of emotions for me

After naps we had a family dinner on our patio with just the four of us and it was everything! 

This is 40 and I am loving it! This year I am going to try to really embrace This new and exciting Adventure! So very thankful for this life:)

Spring

Spring with a Very Mobile Baby and Very Active 3 1/2 year old boy has me Go, go, Going! Beau is so active and really is growing into his own and I am so proud of this Beautiful, Sweet ,Oh, so FUNNY Kid:) We both are. He LOVES it that Lucas is now Mobile and has been helping us out a lot when "Lucas is in Trouble!" he says that a lot so, we decided to teach him ways that he can help Mama & Papa out. Not always willing but, really trying to be the Best Big Brother he can be:) 

Where I think we are struggling is with the attention being off of Beau and everyday is a new learning experience for us trying to figure out how to parent daily is a challenge! We have been trying hard to have consistency in our daily but, easier said then done sometimes when Papa's work schedule isn't! We are doing the best that we can.

Spring updates so far! We made it to Ault Park last week for a Picnic in Our favorite spot. Beau now says ( Can we go to where Mama & Papa got Married?) it is so cute. Love that we can share these special places with them. We finished the picnic off with a hike. We did a reverse one of the hike we used to do up to our favorite spot, it was a little too big and I ended up carrying Beau up Heekin hill on my back! We finished it off with a stop at the Playground:)

I have been missing my one on one time with Beau. It feels like those days where it was just him and I are so far behind us. I guess because Lu is now super Mobile nowadays. So I decided I am going to focus on Mama & Beau Dates  Just Me and my Big Boy! We had our first official one this past week at Pogo Play ( Indoor Playground) it was pretty fun! They may end up being every other week or even once a Month and could be just a trip to grab a special treat somewhere:) Just the two of us!

Beau asked me if he could get in with him and I thought, hey why not? I'm trying to make dinner this could actually work and it did!:) Not long but, long enough for me to enjoy 10 minutes of dinner prep without the craziness!

Scott's cousin from Texas came in for a visit and got to meet Lucas:)

We got to celebrate with just the two of us for dinner and a comedy show 2 nights later! It was very nice and much needed :)

We are helping out a friend who lost her Nanny and having such a great time with her:) Beau has been such a Big helper that it makes me think we could totally have a Third! lol but, please don't ask me if we are!

Young Love

Zoey Celebrated turning 14 over the Weekend! She has been by my side for 12 years now. Such a beautiful gift she is to me.

We did our usual for her Birthday, Just her and I and a car ride out to visit Grace to wish her a Happy 15 and then over to Wish Uncle Bill a happy birthday:) Birthday Month is coming to an end this week with me turning 40! In so many ways I am Blessed and this Big Birthday is a Big part of it:) Will definately be a Birthday Post about 40!
