My Funny Valentine

We have never been big on Celebrating Valentines Day:) since our Anniversary is just two days before but, this year we made an exception for Our Sweet little Valentine:) We made little Heart Garland the week prior and invited his cousins over for a little party to help us celebrate!

We made Cupcakes and Pizza and Served Pink Passion Punch:)

We decorated our tablecloth with hearts and words of LOVE:)
Lunch before Sweets

And Pictures before Cupcakes!
Much Love to These Cuties
Oh, and can't forget the Valentines Cards! Beau, even got a few from the big kids next door... Guess which ones:) Nothing says I love you like WWE  Wrestlers! :)

He had such a great time! At the end he passed out a special treat for his guests and even said...
HAPPY VALENTINES  to each one! It was so SWEET just like our Beau:)

Happy Anniversary TEN YEARS!

I have been looking back on Ten Years of Pictures this week. My heart feels so good, knowing that we have had many great Laughs, Vacations, Celebrations and Journeys together. When we first met 12 years ago at Allyns Cafe I never imagined finding the love of my life in a CAJUN,MEXICAN & SEAFOOD Restaurant! We both like to joke and say we found Love in a hopeless place:)

We are each others ROCK and each others LOBSTER.
Everyday that has passed SINCE 2005 I have grown more in Love with him.
Of course when we met... I was a package deal with my Henry and Zoey who quickly became his too! We added Our Gus in September 2008 :) We miss that sweet, loving, cuddly Boy everyday.
In so many ways this boy prepared us to be Parents! He would have been such a great fit for Beau now:) He was the piece missing for so long in our little family, and when he came he gave Zoey a little partner in crime :) HAPPINESS. He has been gone 2 years now. Miss you sweet boy!
Life has for sure given us some Challenges. We have held each others hand through it all!
We have climbed  Many Mountains together:) We have grown together and as a family of Three, we have struggled with all the newness and challenges of being parents to a little human:) Our lives have changed so much since this happened ( for the better!) Beau has helped us both, figure out how to be in the present moment. This feeling I have imagined in my mind for a very long time!
Today my Heart is HAPPY.
So, today We celebrate All of Our Journeys! Including a New one... This year Our Family of THREE will become a Family of FOUR! That's right:) We are EXPECTING ANOTHER LITTLE BLESSING AND AGAIN WE ARE OVER THE MOON!

We are Blessed. In many ways my heart is full but, there is also that feeling of something is missing. My Brother & Uncle totally had a hand in this :) I know they are watching out for us through all of our pain. Gives me so much peace knowing that God is giving us strength during hard times.

So here we GROW again!
Please Keep us in your thoughts & prayers. We are expecting Our little Surprise just one day after Beau was due :)
We have come along way since this day...

In love since 2005!

Life Lately

We are cruising right into this new year... 2014 is almost a month behind us. Never felt so ready for a New Year! Beau has seriously been bringing on the Lol's and it is really just what this Mama needed.
His words are flowing and forming the cutest little sentences:) I know I just did a Beau-cabulary post but, he has picked up so much more I thought I would share...

Beau be careful Mama:  this little boy likes to try and make his mama on edge with all the climbing  (boy stuff) but, he will always be sure to tell me that he will be careful. I hope he keeps saying this for the rest of his life!

Get dressed Papa & put slippers on: One morning when Scott was off he started saying this, it took me a minute to figure it out... Now every Sunday morning he will say this followed by come play with me Papa!

ETU Mama ( I love you too mama)  This one is currently my Favorite, out of the blue he will just blurt out  an Etu Mama he can say I love you clearly but, this one is just melt my heart Fabulous. Of course I love you too my sweet Beau:)

drama & drampa our car is parked in the Diage :) G is a hard one for him. We work on this but, he still is using a D to replace it! Oh, and C's are T's " Want a TOOKIE Mama?"
When the Sun comes in Mama its SO BRIGHT: He knows when the Sun goes down it means its Sleepy time and now when the Sun comes up he knows it is time to start our day:)

We are loving introducing him to everything " New" but, he has such a good memory too! I have never seen anything like it... he will remember when he has something or something I said from Months before. I wish I could have this kind of memory! So we have been working with him on his ABC'S with a puzzle and then during book time We will stop reading a sentence and he will finish it! At first I thought it was because, we read the same books to him over and over but, yesterday Papa took him to story time and picked up a few new books by, bedtime this kiddo had his favorites memorized!

We have a new Baby in the Family:) She came January 11TH we are Blessed!
AGNES MARIE SCOTT

She is named after my Dad's Mother so a very Old name but, I think it will fit her perfectly:)

We are now eating Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner in a Big Boy chair at our table! This week I decided it was time... the highchair still fit him but, we were ready and WOW! So glad we did because, Beau is really enjoying it too! What a difference it makes, we really are enjoying him being closer and seriously he is eating so much better!

Potty Training part: ( I don't even know!) is going a lot better since we tried the naked butt in the house method! Wow:) So ready for this Train to be done! We took away the Potty Chair and are now just doing Big Potty and he is really doing great! No stickers but, bribing him still with Lolly Pops to go #2 because, this one is still going to keep us Chugging along:( Papa went and bought him a seat to fit our Big Potty... we have yet to use it but, any day now! It has CARS on it so he really likes that:) nothing like Mater and MCqueen to help you go!!!

We have been working on playing with certain Toys and when we want something new we have to clean up the ones we are done playing with! This was my ocd brain that said, I can't do this massive clean up everyday... so with all of his cars I put them all in their own zip lock bag and now when he wants The Race Cars he gets just that! Instead of him dumping all of the cars out to look for only The Race Cars!  We are working on the clean up part:) he helps about half the time but, now my clean up time is cut in half!

Other Stuff we have been up to...
Grandpa made us a frame for our very special Caricature picture we received and turned into Our New Years Card:) more on that another time!
Trip to the Mall for a little a walking around... we did this last year a bunch, it was nice to walk and get out of the house! These are new this year... he really did not LOVE this at all! I so thought he would but, no.
Story time at our Library... this was a good one:) This day he totally participated and made Mama both Happy & Sad.
We like to get out whenever the weather allows us! This was a let's take the Lawn Mower for a stroll kind of day:)
Saturday Morning African Safari on PBS totally looks like he is covering his ears but, this is actually  how he likes to watch his shows... Super Chill.
And finally... I got motivated to finish our Dining Room Craigslist Chairs only 6 months later! Well, two of them anyway:) The next two will not take as long! I hope:)
With the help of The Carpenter of course!

Winter is not going fast enough in my opinion.  So we have been laying low but, enjoying all of The New with this Funny, Smart, Cute as all get out Little Boy:) He really brings me peace in my heart that has been so Heavy. Looking forward to warmer weather so we can get to a park or go for a hike! Would be nice if we had just one good Snow though...:)

BEAU-CABULARY Part 2 1/2

Well, it has been a while since we did a BEAU-CABULARY update and since we are now 2 1/2 this post will be more interesting as we are now very good at picking up things very quickly! :) So here we go...

Yes! : We just started this one the other day, and it is absolutely my favorite yes ever:) No has been in his vocab. for a while So this YES is much welcome around here!

Beau Hungy Mama: Very nice to hear this one too! He now will tell us when he needs a snack or Milky and can even tell us what he is feeling like having! My favorite is when he asks for pancakes at Dinner!  ( If Only Beau)

Papa at work at EMBERS : Every morning we wake up around 5 or 6 so I bring him into bed so we can sleep a little bit longer he always wakes up asking "where's Papa Mama?" I tell him Papa's at work and he follows with "at Embers Mama?"

Making the Pancakes Mama: He loves to pretend he is making Dinner, and Breakfast and loves to pretend we are always eating Pancakes around here:) I don't mind me likey Pancakes!

Oh NO! Stuck in the Mud! : Beau, has quite the imagination! We are embracing this completely! He loves his cars and his cars are always stuck in the MUD!

Beau Peed on the Carpet! :  Yes , we are still stuck in Potty Training-ville... we had a set back but, are getting back on track this Month! This is so hard and I am trying my best to be patient with this process but, truth is this is HARD! So last week we decided it was Naked butt in the house till he gets it back on track! We have great success with this, always tells us and actually runs to go to the potty all by himself and even for the first time in a long time actually pooped too! I know TMI  but, I will proudly share this NEWS:) Of course we picked the coldest week to start Naked-ville so we are rocking Long Sleeves and Socks. Wish us LUCK on Round whatever this is!

No Barking ZOEY!! : He also says Don't Bark ZOEY! TUM ON ZOEY! It's Boomer Zoey (Our Mailman..his name is Boomer) His relationship with her is by far my favorite. She is my #1 and to see this love between these two is indescribable. My heart explodes.

These are my favorite times right now, and I am so Happy that we have a sweet little boy that makes us Laugh all day long! There certainly are the times when we are challenged but, those times are helping us learn to be patient and slow down and I am truly grateful for those:)
So this finally happened! He was so great:)
Grandpa made Beau a stool, so we have a little sous chef in the kitchen now! He loves washing his own hands too!
Santa brought Play-doh and although I thought he was too young... he actually is not! Scott and I are having a blast from the past!
 Our little Family:) Merry Christmas
Santa also brought a new Chalk board! Our little Artist:)
The Papa and Son bond has become stronger in the past few Months and I love watching every moment:) Since I am with him all day when Papa gets home its all about him!

Oh, and finally yes! We have a little ABC action, just picked it up over Christmas and we can't get enough of him singing them to us:) Thanks to Nana & Poppy for his little ABC phone thingy we are all about them now... we also have puzzles and his chart in his room that we made him so my guess is we are going to start recognizing letters very quickly!

It was not Christmas

I have never been so glad to say that Christmas is over in my life. This year was everything I felt it would be. He was deeply missed and Christmas will never be the same again. We will be forever lost without him and our hearts will continue to hurt so much because he is no longer a part of our traditions. We did try though, and because we did I think we can every year to make it a little less painful. We lost all of our stockings somehow from last year? Not sure how this happens but, it did and we searched and searched they are just gone. Not having them up would feel weird too, so my Sister decided to put it out into the Universe to get 20 new stockings by Christmas to surprise my Mom and The Universe responded (Lands End sent 20 stockings with all of our names embroidered on them!) Very much like the ones we already had. "Our Christmas Miracle"  we did surprise her  very much, so much she thought we had found the original ones! That part actually felt good, having him up there again with all of us, needed to happen. They even sent one for my Uncle Bill:) everything else you can file under I wish we were not going through this.
Some good things will be coming but, the days without are more difficult than ever imagined. So the New Year is here. I am hopeful that there will be healing as we move forward and closer to that year mark without him. My Uncle Bill will be gone a year next month. Hard to believe, feels like we never really had time to grieve for him. :( In this New Year I will try and to be a better Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Wife, Mother and Friend. I will take care of my self and give back. I will make sure to not lose time with those who Love me and those I Love. I will remember the little moments with my son and hold the moments with my brother so close to my heart.
